How to connect telephone in Turkey
Setting up telecommunication landline in Turkey is an easy process as are mobile phone connections. Turk Telekom is the only company that can provide you with a new phone landline if your Property doesnot hold an existing one. To put an exisiting phoneline into your name you must bring a copy of your passport and a bill from your lines owner to the local Turk Telekoms Office.
As long as you are a resident in Turkey with residency permit or citzenship the Turk TeleKoms Office will assist you with all your requirements with small connection fee for each phone line.
You will need copies of your passport , your bank details, proof of address and residence permit to apply . You can pay for your monthly phone bills at your citys main post Office branch or have it automatically withdrawn from your bank account .
Internet connections in Turkey
ADSL is widely avaliable in the larger cities and along the coast throughout Turkey although it can be slow in the suburbs and rural areas . There are four main internet service providers , TTNET ,Superonline ,Fixnet,Uydunet . To have internet installed , apply for the service at the local branch postal service. Turk Telekom generally offers the fastest and cheapest services . You will receive monthly bills paid separate to your telephone bill . ,

Getting your utilities connection is generally a straightforward process in Turkey . When moving into any existing Property previously occupied or New home from builder, it is usually just necessary to transfer the name of account into new owners name , done at each of the local offices for each utility with your passport copies , residence permit copies , Tax number , last bill with address details.Property Tapu Title deed . Small charges are also made for these applications .
